“When our kids were small, in the 3 to 7,8 year range, that kind of a thing, we had them on a 5 chores for 5 dollars; if you did all 5 chores you got 5 dollars, 1 for each chore. If you didn’t, if you did only 4 of them, you only got 4 dollars. Then we’d put 1 dollar in the giving envelope, 2 in the spending envelope and 2 in the savings envelope, so they were giving 20% of their income” Dave Ramsey
